I received my bachelor's in elementary education from LaGrange College and my master's from Troy University. I have over a decade of classroom teaching experience.

In STEM, I strive to connect student learning to real-life concepts and engage students with hands-on exploration.

As the Executive Director of the Bowdon Theater Company, I work with elementary and middle school students throughout the school year to produce a musical each spring.

I am married and have 4 amazing children. When I am not in the classroom or volunteering, I enjoy photography, biking, traveling, and living and working on my great-grandfather's farm.
